I decided to include my studio within my website because it plays such a large and important role within my creative and artistic life, my studio is a very special place for me.Last year when my family and I moved from Germany we decided to incorporate my studio within our home for convenience etc.The studio is quite a modest size compared to your average professional artist, however I have never been fond of vast spaces in any part of my life and if anything the cozy warm feel my studio projects helps me relax when working and creating works of art.

My family have learnt to live with not being allowed entry to my studio when I work, as soon as the brush touches the canvas the door is locked and I cant be disturbed. I use extreme focus when working, and problems arise when there is an unplanned break in my concentration, my focus is lost and BANG mistake!!, obviously some mistakes are worse than others however the potential is always there of destroying works of art in the making.On the other end of the scale there are days when my studio doors open up for painting demos, I enjoy showing my guests my painting technique etc but please don't get confused!, I would never attempt to create or paint properly during a demo!
